This private chauffer-driven tour of Jordan is based at the
luxurious Four Seasons Hotel in Amman and the comfortable well-located Movenpick
Hotel in Petra.

The
week-long itinerary explores the Roman city of Jerash, the stunning red desert
of Wadi Rum and the Nabataean city of Petra. Hidden deep in the Shara Mountains
for a thousand years until rediscovered in 1812 Petra was recently confirmed as
one of the Seven New Wonders of the World.

Day 1 To Amman:
Fly from London to Amman with Royal Jordanian Airlines. Transfer to the
Four Seasons Hotel for 3 nights. (N) |

Day 2 Jerash & Amman:
Morning tour of the remarkably well-preserved Roman city of city through
the Siq canyon, which opens out Jerash. Afternoon tour of Amman,
visiting the citadel and Roman theatre. (B) |

Day 3 Madaba, Mount Nebo & Dead Sea:
Morning visit to Madaba, home to a Byzantine mosaic map of the region,
and Mount Nebo, from where Moses first viewed the Holy Land. Afternoon
visit to the Dead Sea. (B) |

Day 4 To Petra:
Drive to Petra, partly along the King's Way, stopping en route to visit
the 12th century Crusader castle of Kerak and the atmospheric site of
Little Petra. Stay for 3 nights at the Movenpick Hotel (Junior Suite).

Day 5 Petra:
Today there will be a guided tour of this spectacular ancient city.
Enter the in front of the dramatic Treasury tomb, and continue through
the atmospheric ruins of a lost civilization. (B) |

Day 6 Petra:
At leisure to explore Petra (your entrance fee is included). (B)

Day 7 To Amman:
Morning drive to Wadi Rum for a 4 x 4 excursion into the desert. This
afternoon, transfer to Amman and stay overnight at the Four Seasons
Hotel. (B) |

Day 8 To London:
Morning transfer to the airport. Fly to London with Royal Jordanian
Airlines. (B) |

Day 7 To Dead Sea: Morning drive to
Wadi Rum for a 4 x 4 excursion into the desert. This
afternoon, transfer to the Dead Sea and stay for 3 nights at the Kempinski
